Peter Palm

was born in a small town near the Dutch border in 1966. After graduating from upper secondary school, he received training as a bookseller at »Carolus Bücher GmbH«, a renowned bookstore in Frankfurt am Main. He has been working as a freelance graphic designer in Berlin since 1990. His typographical signature has been influenced by Wolfgang Geisler, Hans Peter Willberg and Erik Spiekermann.

Right at the beginning of the 1990s, Peter Palm used desktop publishing methods to generate maps and graphic works. Over the years, he has continuously refined this technique so that he can fulfil any wish as to the design of maps and graphics today. His customers include book and magazine publishers, broadcasters, scientific institutions such as universities, institutes and libraries as well as museums and agencies.
